About Totality Treatment Center

Outpatient treatment in West Los Angeles — in person and by telehealth

Totality Treatment Center provides outpatient addiction and mental health treatment in West Los Angeles, and via telehealth throughout California. The facility is not residential — clients sleep at home, keep working, and stay with their families. Five groups run concurrently, 9:30am–3:30pm — three in person, two by telehealth — across three tracks: substance abuse, mental health, and dual diagnosis. There are five groups as the tracks subdivide by specialty: trauma work with EMDR, CSAT-guided treatment for compulsive sexual behavior, psychiatric stabilization. Most programs this size run one group at a time and place people by whatever seat is open. Running groups simultaneously means placement follows clinical need. An evening telehealth track serves clients who are working or pursuing work, need flexibility, or face barriers — internal or external — that make a full day unworkable.

PROGRAMS

  • PHP: 20–30 clinical hours weekly
  • IOP: 9–15 hours weekly across all three tracks, plus evening telehealth
  • Individualized Intensive Program: concierge care, 8–10 private sessions weekly

SPECIALTIES
Certified EMDR · CSAT-guided sex and love addiction treatment, including betrayal trauma support for partners · a dedicated dual diagnosis track · psychiatric medication management · family therapy · nutrition with Nutrition in Recovery.

CONTINUITY OF CARE
Many of the clinicians keep private practices, so when clients step down they can often continue with the same therapist — instead of receiving a referral list when relapse risk peaks. Most programs can't offer this; their clinicians are often employees under non-competes.

INSURANCE
In-network with Optum, Blue Shield, Anthem, and Health Net. Most major PPOs accepted. Benefits are verified and costs are explained before commitment.

WHAT IS NOT PROVIDED
No medical detox, inpatient, or residential care — detox referrals can be coordinated. TMS and Spravato come from a separate in-building provider. Treatment starts with a clinical assessment. If another level of care is the honest answer, that will be communicated clearly.

FAQs

Common Questions About Totality Treatment Center

Do you offer in-person treatment, or is it all telehealth?

Both. Five groups run concurrently from 9:30am to 3:30pm — three in person at the West Los Angeles office at 11150 W Olympic Blvd, two by telehealth. An evening telehealth track also runs. You can attend in person, from home, or move between the two as your circumstances change. Telehealth is available anywhere in California.

Can I keep working while in treatment?

Usually, yes. The IOP runs 9–15 hours weekly, and the evening telehealth track exists specifically for people holding down a job, pursuing work, or managing barriers that make a full daytime program unworkable. PHP is more intensive at 20–30 hours weekly and harder to combine with full-time work.

IIP is recommended for those with tight schedules.

What insurance do you accept?

Totality Treatment Center is in-network with Optum, Blue Shield, Anthem, and Health Net, and works with most major PPO plans. Benefits will be verified and your actual out-of-pocket cost will be communicated before you commit to anything.

Do you offer detox or residential treatment?

No. Totality is outpatient only. Medical detox, inpatient, or residential care is not provided. Withdrawal from alcohol or benzodiazepines can be medically dangerous and requires supervised detox first; those referrals are coordinated and can work with Totality Treatment Center once you're stabilized.

What happens after I finish the program?

Many of the clinicians also maintain independent private practices, so when you step down you can often continue with the same therapist you've been working with — rather than being handed a referral list at the point relapse risk is highest. Most programs can't offer this because their clinicians are employees, frequently under non-compete agreements.
