Able To Change Recovery in Orange County is a family-founded alcohol and drug treatment center specializing in substance abuse, alcoholism, dual diagnosis, and addiction recovery. The program is built around the belief that individualized care planning is the foundation for lasting change, serving as each client’s personal road map to recovery. Every person who enters the program is met with acceptance, compassion, and a commitment to their healing, creating a safe, judgment-free space where they are supported every step of the way.
Treatment addresses both substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health conditions through an integrated, trauma-informed approach. Programs are tailored using a comprehensive bio-psycho-social assessment to identify individual needs and strengths. Evidence-based modalities include cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, motivational interviewing, eye movement desensitization and reprocessing, mindfulness-based therapies, and 12-step facilitation. Holistic therapies such as art therapy, nutrition counseling, and mindfulness practices are also incorporated to promote mind-body balance.
Clients have access to multiple levels of care, including partial hospitalization, intensive outpatient, and extended supportive housing. These programs are delivered in modern, comfortable environments with a high staff-to-client ratio, ensuring personalized attention and continuous support. Family therapy is available to strengthen relationships and create a healthier home environment.
Able To Change Recovery treats a wide range of addictions, including alcohol, opioids, methamphetamines, prescription medications, hallucinogens, and more, along with mental health conditions such as depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, PTSD, obsessive-compulsive disorder, personality disorders, and psychotic disorders.
