Driven by her own illness that afflicted her as a child, Steffini became Dr. Stalos. With dual experience in business and medicine, Dr. Stalos is a unique physician. Her combination of business and medical skills positioned her for difficult laboratory projects with clients facing imminent citations or shutdown, which by itself honed her writing skills. She writes for the casual, business, academic, and technical audience. Her pathology background underlies many specialties in medicine, and her current interest is in wound pathology. She graduated with her BS in Biology, minor in Psychology, from Tulane University in New Orleans, Louisiana. She then attained her DO from the University of North Texas Health Sciences in Fort Worth, Texas. She completed her residency in Clinical Pathology and her Blood Bank fellowship at the University of Minnesota. She is a native Texan who enjoys cooking and road trips.
