Natalie Watkins

Natalie Watkins

As a patient advocate, she is deeply committed to the principle of informed consent within the medical sector, particularly when it comes to mental health. She uses her strong scientific background and deep personal empathy to empower patients to understand their choices and make meaningful decisions about their care in collaboration with medical practitioners. In her writing, those same skills allow her to offer accurate, non-judgmental information and support for anyone trying to understand their experiences and options.

Natalie has worked closely with trauma victims and survivors of domestic violence to help rebuild a sense of safety and confidence. As a former circus performer, she often uses dance and performance in her work to help people reconnect with their bodies and reprocess trauma.
